This bowl wade made from various pieces of wood, both native and exotic that I had been saving from my woodturning operations. These are positioned in plastic containers and then dyed epoxy is added and cured under pressure. Once cured fully, the resulting block is then used to turn a bowl on my wood lathe. Bowls are hollowed, sanded and polished to a smooth finish. The epoxy I use is approved for food contact so these bowls can be used for nuts, candies and other edibles. I do not test each of these for waterproof qualities so cannot guarantee they are leak free but they might be.
